BROUGHTON'S FOOTPATHS
Broughton is blessed with a veritable warren of footpaths both major and minor.
They are much used by residents of the village both for ease of access and for simple recreational exercise.
Footpaths and stiles are the responsibility of the parish council and any maintenance needs should be communicated to the council as and when necessary.

The Clarendon Way
This is a major public footpath that connects the cities of Salisbury to the west and Winchester to the east.
It is about 30 miles long with Broughton being roughly equi-distant from the two cities.
The footpaths popularity has increased over the years and Broughton is now a focal point for two major recreational events raising funds for charitable causes.
